Step into our Bowral studio and spend unhurried time immersed in scent, warmth & slow craft. 
This hands-on workshop invites you to create your own candle using creamy coconut soy wax & pure essential oils, thoughtfully blended and poured by you. 
Whether you come alone for quiet creative time or share the experience with someone special, this is a calm, sensory session centred around natural ingredients & intentional making.

The Experience
Working exclusively with essential oils, you’ll be guided through blending a scent that feels balanced, layered & uniquely yours.
You’ll explore:
  • Top, middle & base notes
  • How essential oils behave in wax
  • How scents evolve as your candle burns
  • How to create harmony within a blend
This is a gentle introduction to botanical scent blending, no synthetic fragrances, just pure plant aromatics.
No experience is needed, only curiosity.
What You’ll Learn
  • The benefits of coconut soy wax & why we use it
  • Correct melting & pouring temperatures
  • How to safely blend and measure essential oils
  • How to scent a candle for a clean, even burn
  • Wick selection & why it matters
  • The tools & equipment used in small-batch candle making
You’ll also receive a full, detailed information booklet to take home, covering everything you’ve learned so you can confidently make candles again in your own time.
What You’ll Create
During the workshop, you will make:
  • One coconut soy wax candle customised with your personal essential oil blend
  • Wax melts to take home. With any leftover wax, you may have the chance to fill some mini moulds, giving you extra take-home wax melts
Your candle will be poured into a complimentary glass vessel.
If you’d prefer something more elevated, you may choose to pour your candle into a handcrafted pottery tumbler for an additional $30.
We use high-quality, clean ingredients to ensure a smooth finish & a gentle, natural scent something you’ll be proud to keep or gift.
Collection Details
Your candle will need 24 hours to fully set.
It can be collected the following day, or we can post it to you for an additional fee payable on the day.
Wax melts can be taken home with you at the end of the session.
