Our Story
Hi, I’m Beth, the face behind Áine & Co.
I’m a mother, a wife, & maker. I started Áine & Co. to share what I love, & to build something meaningful my children could grow up watching, dreaming alongside me as it grew.
I’ve always been drawn to herbs, intention, mythology, & history. Born in England, I’ve carried a deep love of the past for as long as I can remember, & that connection sits at the heart of everything I create and curate. What began with candles has grown into body care, apothecary pieces, & carefully chosen artisan goods. Each one inspired by memory & shaped by the people I love.
Áine is an Irish goddess of summer, love, & sovereignty. Her story found me as I began exploring my ancestry English, Scottish, Scandinavian, & Irish roots woven together. Truly, who doesn’t need a little goddess in their life? Creating beautiful pieces while learning about my heritage & sharing that journey has become the beginning of a new chapter.
At the soul of Áine & Co. is a commitment to purity. We work only with 100% essential oils... no synthetic fragrance!! Allowing the natural aromatherapy to speak for itself. Every blend is created by hand from a memory or a moment. Our journey began in a small studio perched on top of Mount Tamborine in Queensland, & has since carried us to Bowral in the Southern Highlands, where we continue to grow.
I’ve always wanted Áine & Co. to feel like stepping into a home. A cozy cottage filled with beautiful aromas & thoughtful handmade objects that invite you to stay. From locally crafted vessels to artisan pieces sourced here & in Europe, every item is chosen because I love it and believe in the hands that made it. Each maker carries their own story, & I’m honoured to share them alongside mine.
We are working toward intentional sustainability wherever we can. Candle vessels are food-safe & made to be reused. Our labels can be planted to grow wild Australian flowers that support the bees, something close to our hearts, as my children are proud, budding beekeepers. Even our business cards are hand-stamped on recycled llama poo paper.
When you bring something from Áine & Co. into your space, my hope is that it offers a small pause. A breath. A moment of calm. A reminder to care for yourself & share warmth with those around you.
Supporting local communities is at the heart of Àine & Co. I source materials as close to home as possible & collaborate with local and international artisans who craft everything from candle vessels to body care & apothecary goods. This ensures quality while nurturing connections & stories within our communities.
I’m passionate about creating products that are pure, thoughtful, and sustainable... from hand-poured candles to nourishing body care & carefully curated artisan treasures. Every item is made or selected with intention, to delight your senses & support a mindful, harmonious lifestyle. In the future, I hope to expand this work by partnering with nonprofit organisations that share the values of Àine & Co., supporting causes that matter deeply to us.
I invite you to explore the enchanting world of Àine & Co., where every candle, bath, balm, & treasure carries a story of craft, memory, & sustainability. Thank you for joining me on this journey.

Vanessa - PixelPlan
My website has been crafted with care by Vanessa from PixelPlan, and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer. I was struggling to figure out the backend of my site, going in circles until I finally reached out to the community for recommendations. That's when Vanessa came into my life.
I can't express enough how grateful I am for her expertise. She's been incredibly patient with me, listening to my jumbled ideas and helping me sort through them, even when I've been indecisive. Vanessa isn't just a web designer; she's become my go-to for anything online-related.
If you're in need of someone who not only knows their stuff but also genuinely cares about your online success, Vanessa is the one. Trust me, you won't regret it.
Gisela - Gisela Illustrations
Let me tell you about Gisela, the amazing artist I had the pleasure of meeting during my recent trip back to the UK. We stumbled upon each other at a bustling market in London, where her vibrant art immediately captured my attention—just like her vibrant personality.
Gisela's work is something else entirely—every piece is infused with such intricate detail and a unique flair that I couldn't resist. When I embarked on my journey into the world of small business, I knew I had to incorporate her art into my vision.
Working with Gisela has been an absolute joy. She's taken my ideas and breathed life into them, adding her own magical touch along the way. I'm bursting with excitement to share with you what we've created together—it's truly something special.
Dyll - Clay Temple
Every morning, we make the scenic drive from Tamborine Village up to Tamborine Mountain, where my children attend school. Along the way, I've fallen in love with the local community and its vibrant arts scene.
During one of my explorations, I discovered Clay Temple Co. and met its owner, Dyll. Instantly drawn to his warmth and talent, I knew I wanted to collaborate with him on my business journey. So, I pitched the idea of creating one-of-a-kind vessels for my candle business—and here we are, turning that idea into reality. With Dyll's craftsmanship and my vision, we're crafting something truly special, inspired by the beauty of this mountainous landscape.
Gary - WaterStone Pottery
Nestled in the foothills of Mt Tamborine, WaterStone Pottery tells the story of Gary's lifelong love affair with ceramics. For decades, he's invested his heart and soul into every creation, whether shaping them meticulously on the pottery wheel or moulding them by hand from the finest Stoneware or Porcelain clays.
When the idea for the little Comfort mugs came about, Gary jumped at the opportunity to create these unique keepsakes. It was a challenge he embraced wholeheartedly, infusing each mug with the same passion and dedication that defines his craft.
Zoe - Loch Ness Soaps
Zoe began making soap when her eldest daughter struggled with eczema. After trying countless “gentle” body washes filled with chemicals, she decided to create her own.
The breakthrough came when she used filtered water from Loch Ness. Her daughter’s eczema cleared, possibly due to timing or the high-quality oils Zoe used—but the water intrigued her.
Loch Ness water, rich in peat and magnesium, is known for its calming and regenerative properties. Every batch is independently tested for purity, making Zoe’s creamy, luxurious soap gentle and effective.
When I connected with Zoe a like-minded small-business mum, who shares a love for natural products it just made sense to work together. Her product is exquisite, a small bit of artisan luxury.
Josh - A Potter's Journey
Josh is the magic hands behind our pottery jugs. He runs the most beautiful little rainforest pottery studio tucked away in the Gold Coast hinterland, & I first met him back in 2023 at a Christmas market.
The moment I saw his work, I knew I had to team up with him. There’s just something so special about what he creates. Since then, we’ve thrown around all sorts of wild, “surely not possible” ideas & somehow, he always makes them happen.
Josh is ridiculously talented, down-to-earth, & just one of those people who pours heart into everything he does. I feel so lucky to have a few of his truly one-of-a-kind pieces in our collection & even luckier to call him a friend.
"Our collection is shaped by the support of incredible artists whose thoughtful gifts we source, each piece crafted to be kind to the earth and true to the heart of Àine & Co."
